The state of New Jersey is comprised of 21 counties. It is home to over 100 dairy farms and over 40 vineyards, many of which have produced award-winning wines. It is also home to countless farmer's markets and roadside stands selling Jersey Fresh produce. In the summer people travel for miles to head "down the shore" for the many seafood festivals.
Nationwide, New Jersey is famous for the "Jersey Tomato"... but our state also ranks second in blueberry production, third for cranberries and spinach, and fourth for bell peppers, peaches and lettuce. That's a pretty good showing for a state that is ranked 47th in the nation in terms of land area.
